ScriptLogic updates its products on a regular basis, requiring the channels marketing group to refresh its marketing materials frequently. “We knew it was becoming more and more expensive to maintain an inventory of printed marketing materials,” explains Becker. “Every time we revised our software, we needed to update our marketing tools and obsolete the remaining inventory of outdated print materials. It was expensive and we were using valuable resources to ensure customers received the latest, most accurate information and messages.”
ScriptLogic’s previous experiences with on-demand, store-front printers, such as Kinkos were unsuccessful. It was time-consuming to manage the printing and delivery of an array of small jobs. ScriptLogic also couldn’t find a printer who could meet their need for worldwide print and delivery. “Kinkos did not have locations in many of the places I needed them. If I needed a printer in Hamburg, Germany, for example, I had to do an Internet search,” states Becker. “I had to upload my document and go through all the administrative tasks for each local printer, which meant dealing with international payment options, and coordinating additional delivery or pick-up service. Logistically, it was a nightmare. Each time we needed materials, we needed to locate, negotiate, and work with a different printer.”

HubCast’s Cloud Print Service provides ScriptLogic with a comprehensive service for printing and delivering premium-quality print materials anywhere in the world. “HubCast delivers really high-quality printing for an incredible value,” states Becker. “The fact they print locally is amazing.” Recently, as Becker prepared for a trade show in London, Heathrow airport closed suddenly for six days because of a volcanic ash cloud. “Most of my vendors are in the United States and nothing was going in or out of the UK,” says Becker. “It was extremely frustrating. But, HubCast prints locally, so I knew I wouldn’t have any problem with my print materials. As expected, my data sheets were printed and delivered on time.”

Becker is impressed with the ease of HubCast’s interface. “I can order and deliver literature anywhere in the world from a single web portal,” explains Becker. “It is so easy to use and I don’t have to deal with different printers. HubCast does it all. HubCast also provides an online library for all my .pdfs, which simplifies reprints. I don’t have to constantly upload .pdfs unless I have a new version. That’s really convenient.”

If something isn’t quite right, customer service works with us to correct the file. Because HubCast does all this upfront, we never have a problem with our finished materials. The entire process is about really high quality print.”
